HAVING TROUBLE PASSING GUARD?
LET ME SHOW YOU HOW TO SYSTEMATICALLY AND CONSISTENTLY PASS AND DOMINATE IN TOP POSITION.

What's up my fellow grappler,

My name is Chewy, most people in BJJ know me from my Chewjitsu Youtube Channel.

I started Brazilian Jiu-jitsu in 2003 after Wrestling for several years.

As you can imagine coming from a Wrestling background I favored top position and passing guard. But my results on top were mixed.

When I was attempting to pass guard I would often get submitted with triangle chokes or armbars. I also got swept a lot.

It wasn't until 2007 when I began reinventing my guard passing game as a Purple Belt that things started to "click".

Now my guard passing is the best thing I do on the mats.

So much so, that when I compete my opponent's tell me how tough my passing is, and when I go to other gyms to train the training partners there say the same thing.

And when I'm brought out for seminars, it's almost always for guard passing.

Now I'm not telling you this to brag. I'm telling you this because over the last 13 years I've develop my own system and style of guard passing which I'm sharing with you here today.

Here's the best part about it. . . it's all based on sound fundamentals and basics.

BEFORE GO ON, READ THIS DISCLAIMER:

Please understand that my results aren’t typical. I’m not saying you can’t duplicate them or even do better than me.

I hope you do! I mean that's kind of the point I'm sharing this with you just like I do with my students.

I want you to be better than me.

I’m lucky enough to have been training BJJ since 2003 and I’m an incredibly hard worker.

And over the course of 10 years I’ve developed a powerful guard passing game as a result.

The average person who buys BJJ instructional series unfortunately gets little to no results. Because information is just information.

It requires ACTION to put it together!
Your results will vary depending on several factors. . . including your experience on the mats, your body type, your current type of BJJ style, but most importantly your work ethic

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu will always require hard work and effort to succeed. That’s what makes it so good! You can't cheat it.

So if you’re not willing to put the time and effort in on the mats then please DO NOT GET THIS SERIES. This series is for Executors. Not people who collect video courses expecting it to do the work for them.

With all that said, let’s get into my guard passing series and I’ll show you a few things . . .

COMMON PROBLEMS YOU'LL HAVE WITH A WEAK GUARD PASSING GAME:

  • You get submitted because you leave your neck and arms hanging out.
  • You get swept because you lack strong positional control from top.
  • You're unable to win competitions because you cannot score points or get into dominant position for the win.
  • You lack a clear strategy of how your guard passing techniques work together.
  • You pass the legs but you can't hold side control or dominant position. The person just puts their legs back in front of you.
  • You avoid rolling with the people in your gym who have a nasty guard for fear of getting submitted left and right.
  • You're unable to take the back.

EFFECTIVE GUARD PASSING IS ESSENTIAL FOR EVERY GRAPPLER.

This is why there is no more valuable skill for a top player than a strong Guard Passing game.

If you've watch my matches on Youtube or FloGrappling you'll know that I'm a aggressive guard passer who pushes the pace, takes the back and catches a lot of submissions.

Guard passing is also one of most necessary skills you need in order to be a dominant BJJ player.

Here's why. . .

When you’re up against a tough opponent of similar skill you spend a large amount of your time either passing the guard or defending and attacking from the bottom.

If you're someone who naturally favors the top position it’s important to have a systematic and reliable guard passing game. Otherwise you’ll end up wasting a ton of energy and get submitted left and right.

This was me for years! I used to get aggressive for the pass and would leave my arms and neck wide open for submissions.

Then if you’re naturally a bottom player you need to have a strong passing game too. Otherwise you’ll get sweeps and immediately get submitted or swept back to the bottom.

I've seen plenty of my students struggle with this problem. I had one student who was a high level belt from the bottom but a White Belt on top.

So whether you're naturally a top player and you're looking for some extra tips to boost your passing game, or you're the bottom player looking to learn how to stay on top and pour on the pressure. . .

Then I’m excited to share my brand new Breakthrough Guard Passing series with you.

Inside the series is my incredibly competition-tested guard passing system that I've used to win numerous Black Belt matches and be a dominant grappler during rolling.

Inside the series I've included my best techniques which are largely a collection of simple techniques I've learned as far back as White Belt but with some small details and adjustments I've been able to use them against Black Belts successfully.

In addition to the techniques I teach my process/system along with the strategies I use. This way you can mix and match my techniques with your own to piece together your own style.

This is also the same system I teach my students who have used it to win their own matches and competition titles.

And today I'm sharing it with you, and I hope it brings you success like it has for me and my team.

THIS SERIES IS NOT JUST ABOUT GUARD PASSING. . .

Along with the effective guard passes I've included. You can also use this series to develop a system and strategy for your own guard passing.

One of the areas I lacked with my guard passing years ago was strategy. I had techniques but I didn't have a good idea of how or when to use them. With the Breakthrough Guard Passing course you'll be able to use my techniques and concept videos to not only develop a crushing guard passing game, but also a strategy of how to use it.

You'll also develop the ability to setup multiple threats that keep your guard playing opponent off balance. . .

This come in the form of:

Arm attacks that leads into a guard pass (shown in my kimura/straight arm lock section). . .

Leg lock attacks to threaten your opponent's legs during guard retention which makes it easier to pass (shown in my leg lock setup section). . .

Back takes during the transition of guard pass (shown in the back exposure section). . .

And lastly this multiple threat idea happens as you learn how to combine passes together into a chain of attacks that don't allow your bottom playing opponent to rest.

Several of my students have used this system of techniques and concepts to develop their own ability to be offensive from the bottom. Even if they don’t have the longest legs or most flexible hips.

But like I said, there's more to this Breakthrough Guard Passing Series than "just" passes. Here's a little bit of what you'll get...
Here’s a little of what to expect inside the series:

  • 70+ videos of guard crushing detail. (The series is straightforward but I go into ever nook and cranny to give you all the details needed to be a fear top player.)
  • How I pass Black Belts with techniques I learned as a White Belt! (Small details can take a technique to the next level. This series is crammed full of these small adjustments.)
  • A sneaky choke variation I use that doesn’t even require full back mount! (I’ve hit this one in training and competition and people never see it coming.)
  • My exact step-by-step strategy for Guard Passing. (You can use mine or you can take the ideas from it to create your own strategy using the ideas I share as a model.)
  • Smash guards with moves you learned as a fresh White Belt! (Nowadays everyone thinks you need fancy techniques. This simply isn’t true! I’ll show you how tweak simple moves and turn them into powerful guard destroyers.)
  • Over 15 videos dedicated to ideas and strategies and concepts. (Start with these videos to lay the groundwork before you dive into the techniques.)
  • Learn some of my essential rules (like the Belly Button and Touch-N-Go) for passing guards effectively. (These rules will keep you out of trouble and your opponent on the defensive. If you don’t understand these rules be prepared to fight harder than you need to.)
  • A game-changing way to chain your guard passes together. (This method will turn your guard passing game into a nightmare for a guard player!)
  • Play chess not checkers. (Your guard passing should be setting up other attacks to follow.)
  • Become a back taking machine! (I’ll show you how to find small “mini-transitions” through back exposure that make this happen.)
  • How to shut down guard retention. (Getting past the legs isn’t enough against a flexible guard player. The passing finishes will lock up their movement and secure the pass for you.)
  • An invisible principle that protects you from your opponent’s best attacks. (One of the most important parts of BJJ in general is reading your opponent and dictating position. I share my tried and true method for doing this with passing to stay away from my opponent’s best guards.)
  • My high-percentage Kimura and Straight Armlock attack! (This stupid-simple submission chain has won me more matches at Black Belt than I can remember. The best part is it’s low risk!)
  • How to avoid triangle chokes and armbars when you’re passing in tight low positions. (My idea of “fighting in the trenches” along with subtle grip adjustments will prevent bottom submissions and frustrate the guard player to no end.)
  • An ancient law of avoiding exhaustion! (Learn how to avoid wasting all of your energy and gassing out while passing guard.)
  • Why leg locks HELP guard passing. (Leg locks don’t just have to be a bottom players game. Learn how to pair them together with your guard passing to make the guard player scared to open their guard.)
  • A systematized process for Guard Passing. (Having a process to passing makes shutting down the guard predictable and consistent.)
  • Easy to watch, short length videos that leave you with something to work on the next time you train. (The videos are all under 15 minutes. This is so you can easily digest 1 bit of information and use it for training today!)
  • I’m giving you my best techniques! (I don’t want you to waste time and energy learning garbage. So there are only highly effective techniques included and absolutely 100% no fluff or filler moves.)
  • A competition-tested system that’s been taught to hundreds. (My guard passing has been proven in high level competitions and rolling. And I’ve also shared it with my students who have done the same.)
  • Small details that will multiply your pressure! (Throughout the series I’ll show you the small grips and body adjustments I use to create massive pressure on the bottom person.)
  • Narrated match breakdowns. (Along with showing you how to do the techniques I also show how I use them in competitions and matches.)
  • Additional future content updates. (I have a nasty habit (perhaps not so nasty for you) of adding more content in the future. As I grow and learn more I include it in the video courses I produce. No one else does it this way, but it's my way of continuing to give you my best for years to come.)
